Living My Dream: personal

It was November 5, 2010 and I sat at a Panera Bread in Oceanside, CA with Marissa and Heather. It had been well over a year since the three of us had been together in Vancouver, BC interning with Jamie Delaine and when Heather flew down to second shoot Shanna and Phil’s wedding with me...

Myldred & Jeff Part Two: Manhattan Beach Wedding Photographer

Myldred and Jeff went to high school together, but were never officially a couple during high school. Although, some people have said they could tell Jeff was sweet on Myldred even back then. After high school Jeff joined the Marines, something he has always known he would do. [He got ready for the day in...

Suite Mates: USC Lifestyle Photographer

One of my favorite memories with Shay was when we were driving to Chapman University, she was a high school senior and along on an AVID field trip. We were riding in the same car [not on the school bus] and listening to a mix CD I made, when the Jonas Brothers came on. I...

The album turned out gorgeous! That was such a fun day :)

Marissa Rodriguez - March 29, 2011 - 11:55 am

Stacee! I love this post! You are SOOOO right about albums! and btw, I am in the process of ordering a few albums of personal work or trips we’ve taken. Because really, it doesn’t make sense to have photos stuffed in a box or to only have photos on FB. It’s such a different feeling to HOLD your album, ESPECIALLY if it’s from your wedding!, and be able to re live your story! I love how you explained it in this post! And this album is GORGEOUS by the way!

I know *exactly* what you mean. It’s the main reason I’ve been making photobooks :) . I cant wait to buy my “yearbooks” :)

You are SO right. It’s crazy how easy it is to wind up years down the line and see photos you ADORE still in your harddrive and not where you can actually hold them. Definitely motivates me to keep printing them… in albums and canvases and anything else I can think of! LOL.

My Auntie Loves Me: personal

I woke up just after 9 this morning. Finally a day to sleep in! I made a mental list of all I was going to accomplish. The sessions I would edit, the photographs I would take, the blog posts I would write and schedule–oh yes I can be that prepared! Oh the goals I had...
