My favorite part about going to Canada was that it was ordinary. We may have had a full schedule of things to do, but mostly they included things like “Dinner at Jennie’s” or “Watch Gilmore Girls” we decided we didn’t really want to do a bunch of touristy things and that we’d much rather just spend time enjoying each others company. An exact quote from our email thread was “If you told me we are just going to sit on a couch and stare at each other for 6 days I wouldn’t be any less excited!” True story, that’s exactly how us Californians felt.
Day 5: Meredith’s House, Fergus, ON
So on Monday, after we had a little fun in Elora, we went to the grocery store and spent the day gathered around the kitchen making yummy desserts to take to Jennie’s house that night. We definitely know how to party. ;]
Everybody helped a little, I think Avery, Mae & Clara had the time of their lives.
This is the real reason everyone wanted to “help” with baking. ;]
