The Harris Family: Orange Circle Family Photographer

I first talked to Jen while I was stuck in major traffic on my way home from a Disneyland photo session. It had been a crazy day and I was likely going to be late to bible study at church because of the traffic, so I thought instead of sitting here for 2 hours, why not be productive and return phone calls?

As soon as Jen answered I knew we would be friends. She knew exactly where she wanted her family session to take place, she knew she wanted to make the session own, and even if she didn’t know why yellow balloons were going to be involved.

Last week I met up with the whole Harris family at the Orange Circle Antique Mall, we wandered the streets, the alleyways and the antique stores for their family photos and even stopped in at a liquor store for some Pepsi. This was hands down the most fun family session I have ever shot I love when people take control of their sessions and bring cool props! Even a week later I still can’t get over how much fun I had, I want to hang out with this family every day!:D

I have to be honest, one of my favorite things about this session, aside from the kids’ amazing eyes and the yellow balloons, was how much Jen and Jared really love each other.

Best parents ever! For being so awesome during the Jen and Jared got the kids cupcakes and they had a little picnic in the garden of an antique store.
