I have known Lizzy for many many years. She’s basically my new favorite person right now because she is the lovely lady who stood behind the camera and captured the photographs of Jack & I that I posted yesterday. Seriously, my favorite person right now, I can’t stop staring at these photos she took for me! ilovethemsomuch!

But, before I was in front of her camera, she was in front of mine. We’d been talking about me taking photos of her for a few weeks, but I’m a jerk and kept postponing because I loathe the marine layer and I really wanted to be able to “shoot” her in some pretty sunshine. Last Wednesday the marine layer FINALLY left and sunshine graced us with her presence, and I am SO thankful she did! I’m absolutely in love with the light from this session. :] One of the fun parts about photographing a photographer is their total understanding of pulling off to the side of the road to get a few good shots, so that’s what Lizzy and I did, we drove in one direction and pulled off wherever it looked cute. [Even if that meant trespassing right next to the sheriff’s station. ;)] It doesn’t get much better than that.

I’m just going to be honest, I’m kinda obsessed with Lizzy’s eyelashes.

Lizzy, thank you SO much for overcoming your own nerves about being in front of the camera and asking me to photograph you and thank you even more for always being a supporter of my crazy dream of being a photographer. It means the whole world to me. I had so much fun driving around PV with you and pulling off where the light was good, we should do this more often, then neither of us will hate being in front of the camera! ;] <3
