Myldred & Jeff Part One: Manhattan Beach Wedding Photographer

Everything about this day and this post makes me cry. :’] I met Myldred in 9-3. When I met her, I never imagined one day, so soon, I would be photographing her wedding day. [Oh gosh, I'm literally crying writing this! Ahhh!!] Steven sent me a text message a few weeks ago asking me what...

Happy Memorial Day!

Happy Memorial Day!! I’ve been out of town this weekend for a *much* needed break from life and work. [Not that I've actually taken a break from work, the number of blogs I have ready to post this week is amazing. Even I'm impressed haha] Saturday after we got up here I took a 3...

I LOVE the first and last photo, and maggis is so adorable :)

Ashling & Jared: Manhattan Beach Photographer

She lived in Ireland and he lived on the east coast of the USA. A chance meeting, far from either of their homes, led them to talking on the phone every day, despite the distance. And two years ago they each made a huge decision to move *far* from their homes to be together in...

Stacee… it’s so clear this is your calling. These are just amazing, and YOU are amazing. You have an incredible talent.

Lauren Wentworth - May 27, 2011 - 8:35 am

Hi Stacee! I LOVE the 12th photo where they are I’m front of the brick wall. The lighting, the expressions on their faces, and everything about it is beautiful! I’m excited for the weekend because it’s the first weekend my husband and I will get to spend at our apartment aaaaaand because it’s our first wedding anniversary on Sunday! We will be going to a play, dinner, and eating our old (and probably not-so-great-tasting) wedding cake along with some champagne. I’m very excited :) I love all of these photos and I hope you have a great weekend Stacee!

Jen Sokol - May 27, 2011 - 9:07 am

I LOVE the first beach picture where he is lifting her in the air and they kiss. It’s beautiful. It looks like they are in their world and your just getting a peak. They’re having fun and are so in love!

I’m excited for this weekend to BBQ with some friends and take my puppy to the beach for the first time! :)

Kahiry Chagoya - May 27, 2011 - 11:12 am

I love the last picture. That is a picture that you have on your mantle when you are old and you say “Remember this, honey?” but I agree with Jen about the beach picture. She is so little in his arms it made me say awwww :) I am looking forward to seeing Panda2 with my handsome boy!

I can only pick ONE??? Ok, I like the one with the clothes hanging. It’s so artsy and kind of has a castaway feel to it. Oh, and I also loved that you described it at “legit.” :) Another AWESOME shoot!

Charlotte - May 27, 2011 - 3:13 pm

I really like the 3rd photo from the top where the couple is looking into each others eyes. It’s hard to miss the love these 2 people have for each other. It’s in the eyes!

I am excited about this Memorial Day weekend….BECAUSE I DON’T HAVE SCHOOL ON MONDAY!!!!! YIPEEE!!!!!!

Regina - May 27, 2011 - 3:20 pm

The intimate, passionate moment that the couple is sharing in that photo where they are standing in front of the brick wall (2 before the beginning of the beach photos) seems so restrained yet so intense. They are so into each other, the way they’re in each others arms, eyes closed. It’s like, their feelings are so intense but all they can do to restrain the moment (because you’re watching)… is to touch slightly… with their foreheads…and noses. It is subtle…yet captivating. It is a fleeting moment that you were forever able to capture through your lens…a moment upon which I now find myself transfixed.

I’m excited for MD Weekend because I can FINALLY have a moment to myself where I can exhale. It has truly been such a momentous Spring 2011! Brief respite before the next long haul. (forgot to post this after my photo comment)

Matt Wright - May 27, 2011 - 5:26 pm

Oh yeah, and I’m excited about the weekend because my new, little famiy is taking a trip to San Diego to visit Sea World!

Phil Carnehl - May 27, 2011 - 5:49 pm

I love picture 20, the two of them together by the walkway. Your ability to take pictures where the subjects don’t look like they’re on a photoshoot, they’re just together and enjoying it and you happen to be there taking pictures, this ability astounds me, and i don’t ‘astound’ too easily. I’m excited for this weekend because i get to spend it away with the new half of my family, the half God didn’t give me from the start because he knew i’d need them at this point in my life (and i wouldn’t have married Shanna if she was already family lol). ASTOUNDED!

Elizabeth - May 27, 2011 - 6:31 pm

I love the one where she is in the red and her arms is wrapped around his shoulder and the photo is focused on her hands!!!

I am excited about this weekend because my husband and I both will be home with the kids and that is far and few between right now!!!

Zoe at 6 Months: Palos Verdes Baby Photographer

I’ve restarted this blog post like, 20 times. There aren’t words to adequately say how much I love this little girl or how thankful I am for the direction my life has come. On Sunday after this session a bunch of people ended up in the driveway playing Kick the Can. I was sitting inside...

Oh.my.gosh. Just when I think your pictures cannot GET more brilliant, you go and produce something like THIS?!?!?!?!?!?!? AMAZING!!!! I love them so much! I cannot stop looking at the closed-eyed laugh….SOOOOOO cute!!!

Danielle Nicole - May 24, 2011 - 11:56 pm

Seriously Stacee… Beautiful! You are soooo talented and Zoe is so lucky to have you in her life, not only documenting her life, but pouring into, and blessing it as well! <3

Alexis Anderson - May 25, 2011 - 6:53 am

I want to “like” Danielle’s comment. <3

Argyle Day: Lomita Lifestyle Photographer

Yesterday morning at church we had, like, a million testimonies. I love that. I love that my church is so much like a family we just share with each other even if it’s from the pulpit on a Sunday morning. One testimony stuck out to me. It was from a couple that has only been...
